What is GAPS?

Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAP Syndrome or GAPS)™ is a condition which establishes a connection between the functions of the digestive system and the brain.   Dr. Natasha Campbell–McBride, MD, (neurologist & nutritionist) worked with many patients that were diagnosed as having autism spectrum disorders, hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), dyslexia, dyspraxia, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, asthma, eczema and any other condition that has a link with gut dysbiosis.    The GAPS diet is a nutrtional healing protocol to clean and heal the digestive tract.
